Bookings
Meteor's excellent water skiing and wakeboarding facilities can be rented out during the season on weekday mornings and afternoons or weekend mornings. Our season runs from April through to October. Private bookings are a great way for a group of friends or colleagues to take advantage of Meteor's close proximity to both Belfast and Lisburn and get out on our private lake to water ski or wakeboard. It's also a great way to enjoy a hot summer afternoon on a 'team building' work day out!

What's included
You will have complete use of all our facilities, including our clubhouse, changing rooms, hot showers, kitchen and so on, but most importantly you'll have an uninterrupted 2 or 4 hours sole use of our world class Nautique 200 ski boat, driven by one of our experienced club drivers who'll be able to help instruct beginners and give helpful tips to those who have skied or wakeboarded before.

All necessary equipment can be provided and is included in the hire price, such as wetsuits, water skis, wakeboard and ski jackets.

How many people can come?
​You can bring as many people as you'd like but we find it's usually best to keep it below 10 for a 4 hour rental or 5 for a 2 hour rental. You only pay one all-encompassing fee so too many people only means that each person will have less time on the water. For beginners, the optimum is about 8 people for a 4 hour rental or 4 people for a 2 hour rental as you'll each get enough time to learn how to get up on the skis or wakeboard in your first session, and then try a few more adventurous moves in subsequent sessions.

Rental of the club is available to Non-Members at the following times, subject to driver availability.

11:00am to 1:00pm
The following prices are the current rates for rental and are subject to change without notice (although as long as fuel prices don't change too much you probably wont see a change over a season).
4 hour rental (Non-Member): £440
4 hour rental (Member): £380
2 hour rental (Non-Member): £250
2 hour rental (Member): £200

Non-Member Skiing
If you just want to ski occasionally it is possible to book a ski or wakeboard set during the season. Non-members can ski a maximum of eight times in any one ski season and skiing is by appointment only and is subject to availability.

Refunds

Bookings cancelled by you, with more than 7 days’ notice, we will refund 100%.

Bookings cancelled by you, with between 7 and 2 days’ notice, we will refund 66%.

Bookings cancelled by you, with less than 2 days’ notice, we will refund 33%.

Bookings cancelled by you, on the day there will be no refund.

Bookings cancelled by the club; we will refund 100%.

Bookings cancelled by the club, because the weather is unsuitable for lake activities, we will refund 100%.
