About

The Club was founded in 1960, incorporated as a Limited Company (NI650140) on 9th January 2018 and is affiliated to the Irish Waterski and Wakeboard Federation
Meteor Water Ski Club Ltd is based on Lough Henney in County Down in Northern Ireland, about 20 minutes drive from Belfast, and is made up of members who share an interest in water skiing and wakeboarding.
Our lake and boat
The club boasts its own private lake to ensure safe and uninterrupted skiing for members and visitors. Our world class Nautique 200 towboat is in constant use from April to October with an experienced driver on duty every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evening and Saturday and Sundays from 1.45pm. The lake facilities include 2 slalom courses for skiers and a mini course for beginners.

On-shore facilities
Our on-shore facilities include a club house with changing facilities, hot showers, a lounge and a kitchen area. The clubhouse's lakeside setting is an ideal place to sit, enjoy a barbecue and relax before heading out on the water. There's no better way to unwind on a warm summer evening. The club has all the necessary equipment for beginners no matter what discipline they choose and there are always members willing to give you a few tips on how to improve.
Member skiing
From May to September the duty driver starts at 6.45pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday and at 1.45pm Saturday and Sunday. Outside of the duty rota times, private bookings and Club arranged events, members are free to arrange to ski together at any time of the day providing there is a designated boat driver as part of the group.
