Meteor Waterski Club is located about a 20 minute drive south of Belfast, just off the main Belfast to Newcastle Road between Carryduff and Ballynahinch, near the village of Boardmills. Directions from Belfast
The following are directions south from Belfast, beginning at the Forestside Shopping Centre.
- Take the A24 - Saintfield Road heading south, signposted Newcastle.
- Follow the A24 - Saintfield Road for just over 3 miles to the Carryduff Roundabout roundabout (on the way you will pass a large filling station and McDonalds on the left of this 4-lane road).
- At the Carryduff Roundabout, take the 2nd exit, following signs for A24 - Newcastle.
- Follow the road for about 4 and a half miles, passing the Temple crossroads, the Temple Golf Club (on the right) and Temple Church (on the left).
- Turn right (beside a bus stop on the right) onto Bresagh Road and follow the road for about 1 mile, the road follows the edge of the lake as you approach the club on your left.
Directions from the M1
- Leave the M1 motorway at Junction 6 for Lisburn (NB: not the Sprucefield exit) and follow signs for A49 - Saintfield onto the Saintfield Road which later becomes the Ballynahinch Road.
- After following the road for about 4 miles from the motorway, turn left onto Drennan Road. Follow the road for just over 1 mile and turn right onto Bresagh Road which starts with a stone bridge.
- Follow the road through a sharp right, then a sharp left turn and on until you reach the club on your right.
